Corey Miller, the New Orleans rapper known as C-Murder, is on a hunger strike in Angola prison, according to his brother Percy Miller a.k.a. Master P. In 2009 Corey Miller was sentenced to life in prison in the 2002 club shooting of Steve Thomas in Harvey, Louisiana. He has maintained his innocence, and on Wednesday evening Master P addressed his brother’s case in an Instagram video. Label mate and friend MIA X also went took to her Instagram to inform us about Corey a Miller and to show love and support. Last week, Miller released a statement about his hunger strike, which he says was aimed to fight against the conditions that he and other peers were facing inside the prison. He claims that the warden overseeing the prison was previously arrested for rape and has an “abundant” amount of complaints against him including sexual harassment, racism and assault.
